Saturday, October 17 at The Southgate House Revival - The Lounge, Cincinnati
About this event
Mango Tree, Elijah Batson and the Career Enders, and Moe Reen bring a three-act folk-rooted bill to The Southgate House Revival - The Lounge in Newport, just across the river from Cincinnati. The lineup connects Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky indie and songwriter scenes with country-folk storytelling, alternative folk, and emotionally direct songwriting.
Who's playing
The bill features Mango Tree, a Cincinnati alternative-folk band; Elijah Batson and the Career Enders, led by Covington singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Elijah Batson; and Moe Reen, an Ohio country-folk songwriter known for pairing classic country feeling with contemporary lyrical concerns.
What to expect
Expect an intimate Lounge show built around songcraft rather than spectacle: folk rock, singer-songwriter pop, country-folk, and indie-leaning arrangements all share space on this Southgate House Revival bill.
Why go
For Cincinnati listeners who follow local and regional songwriting, this is a compact snapshot of the Ohio/Kentucky scene: Mango Tree’s Cincinnati roots, Batson’s Covington perspective, and Moe Reen’s heart-forward country-folk voice in one room.
